The Fort Myers Boat Show, held each November in downtown Ft. Myers on the Caloosahatchee River is one of the largest and longest running shows on Florida’s west coast. Boats are displayed in-water at the Ft. Myers City Yacht Basin and on land in Centennial Park and surrounding streets. Most accessories are exhibited in the newly refurbished Caloosa Sound Convention Center, adjoining the beautiful new Luminary Hotel. It is one of the most popular annual events to take place in Ft. Myers each year.
The Charlotte County Boat Show, held each January at the Charlotte County Fairgrounds, is the largest display of boats and marine products in Charlotte County. Hundreds of boats from every major dealer are on display. Boats are displayed throughout the grounds with accessories inside the Expo Hall. Exhibitors have long considered this to be one of the most cost effective and productive shows of the year.
The Bonita Springs Boat Show, held each March on the grounds of the Bonita Springs Poker Room rounds out the boat show season and has become a popular show for boaters heading into the finest boating time of year. The location on Bonita Beach Road is between I-75 and U.S. 41 and has plenty of easy parking making it a very convenient show for the consumer to attend from almost anywhere in Southwest Florida.
The shows are managed by Good Event Management, with more than 40 years of show management experience throughout Florida. Because they are industry owned, all major decisions regarding the shows are made by the Association’s Board of Directors and provide the majority of funding for our many legislative and marketing initiatives.
